Sassy Cat Promotions presents Hair Walk, a charity fundraising event to raise awareness about cancer and $50,000 for the South Carolina Oncology Associates Cares Foundation and Palmetto Health Foundation.
The tri-event charity fundraiser is composed of the Pink Tie Charity Auction, HeadHunterz Competition and Hair Walk:
These events will raise funds to support several SCOA Cares Foundation programs and Palmetto Health Foundation. These programs include the retail pharmacy voucher and patient transportation programs. SCOA Cares Foundation provides assistance to uninsured and underinsured cancer patients. Palmetto Health Foundation supports hospitals that offer an ever increasing array of services targeted to meet specific community needs. The Palmetto Health Foundation ensures that Palmetto Health Breast Center maintains a level of excellence with new programs, services and equipment.
The Pink Tie Charity Auction will take place, Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Capital City Club from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. This event will showcase the “real men that wear pink” in honor of those who lost their lives to breast cancer and the many survivors.
